Marc Jacobs Photo Booth Break - Diet Coke 30th Anniversary Ad

(Source: youtube.com)

If you think Diet Coke is seriously addictive, you now have more reason to succumb to sweet temptation. Just watch Photo Booth Break, a parody of the brand’s “Hunk” ads from the nineties, starring a seriously swoon-worthy, not to mention topless, Marc Jacobs.
At an age where most people are slowing down, the American designer has been appointed the new Creative Director for Diet Coke, which celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year.
Clearly, Jacobs’ didn’t have enough on his plate between designing for his own brand and French fashion house Louis Vuitton. Following in the footsteps of Jean Paul Gaultier and Diane von Furstenberg, Jacobs will design a limited edition collection of bottles and cans in a year-long partnership.
And whilst the eponymous designer turns fifty in April, his career is just heating up – literally. If in doubt, watch the ad and try not to drool. Let’s just say he gives Tom Ford a run for his money.

Just in case you fell into a black hole last October and are wondering what the “hoopla” was all about, check out how Chanel made oversized an understatement along with Lagerfield’s inspiration for his beach accessory. To quote the maestro, “It’s all about volume.” Amen.
